Before we arrive
Clear small items, valuables, and breakables from the rooms we're cleaning — toys, magazines, small decor. You don't need to vacuum (we handle soil removal), but picking up clutter helps us work efficiently. Secure pets in another room; the equipment is loud and doors stay open. That's it — no other prep needed.
When we arrive
We walk through with you first. We look at the carpet, identify the type and condition, note stains and problem areas, and confirm the quote — no changes unless you add rooms or services. We discuss any concerns: that mystery stain, the pet spot, the high-traffic lane. Honest expectations get set here.
The cleaning process
We move light furniture (sofas, chairs, tables) and place it back when done — with protective tabs under legs. Then: thorough vacuuming of dry soil, pre-treatment of spots and traffic lanes with dwell time, hot water extraction with slow overlapping passes, and grooming so fibers dry upright and even. Problem spots get extra attention and a second pass if needed.
Most homes take 2 to 4 hours. We're methodical, not slow — rushing is how corners get cut, and we don't cut corners.
The walk-through
Before we leave, we walk every room with you. We check the problem spots together. If anything needs another pass, it happens now — not after we've packed up. You don't pay until you're satisfied with what you see.
After we leave
Keep foot traffic light until the carpet dries (4-8 hours) — socks or shoe covers if you must walk on it. Run ceiling fans and AC to speed drying. Wait to move furniture back until dry, and keep pets off until then too. Vacuum normally after 24 hours. And enjoy it — clean carpet is one of life's underrated pleasures.
